You have a website, you are driving traffic and you want to build a huge list. Talk to any internet marketer or any expert they will tell you the best way to build a list is to drive traffic to a squeeze page otherwise known as a landing page.

If you want to get qualified buyers you should be driving pay-per-click traffic to this landing page or this squeeze page. While this method worked very well until recently, Google changed the game by introducing a new rating algorithm for landing pages called “quality score”. What this means is: your landing page can be slapped by Google for lack of enough quality content.

If this happens to you, what It means is your landing page or squeeze page is not content rich or relevant to the traffic you are driving.

What is Quality Score?

The basis of a quality score is arrived by measuring the quality and relevance of your ad, the base price of your keywords the click through rates, the ad text and the landing page. As you see there are multiple different components that are responsible to determining the quality score.

The best way or the definitive way to overcome the quality score requirement is to drive paid traffic to a blog post. If you have a blog make a blog post with relevant, genuine and natural flowing content target for human eyes and drive Pay per Click traffic to that content.

A blog has a broader presence than a squeeze page. A blog can easily be published with good, relevant and natural flowing content. Search engines love them and blogs attract traffic.

As you go along, you can make changes to the blog post to increase the relevancy of the landing page. Most marketers who are starting out, to overcome this challenge drive traffic to a static squeeze page by stuffing it with kinds of key words. If you are using any software to do it, you are probably fine, but if you are doing it manually; it could involve a lot of time and the chances are you may not get it right at the end.

So the definitive way is to create a blog and make a blog post and then start driving Pay Per Click traffic using Google, MSN and Yahoo. Rich in nature and with right key words the content presents very well to Google. There are more specifics around this and in the upcoming articles I am going to share more specifics and insights how this is done. Now remember the best way or the definitive way to overcome Google’s quality score requirement is by making a quality post in your blog and capturing emails from the blog post directly.

This leads to further possibilities. Can you make a post on site such as hubpages.com, Ever. com and drive paid traffic to those post. The answer is YES.

Make sure that the platform on which you post the content support optin-box placement. Otherwise you would lose the whole essence of this exercise, which is to capture the first name, last name and email of the visitor.

Blogs thrive on their image as a spontaneous, constantly updated and somewhat intimate format. Blogs are a sort of broadcasting, with the bloggers spreading their words, thoughts and accounts of current events across the world from their keyboards to a large audience. The best blogs manage to be casual and conversational without slipping into poor form.

Most blogging software contains a spell checker integrated into the program. If yours doesn’t, there are a number of “right click” spell checkers that can check your spelling from the blog’s entry window. Use whichever one you prefer but always use a spell check. Misspellings take away from the credibility of the writer and can do a great disservice to the blog.

Before you post something on line, make sure it’s true. Blogs are sometimes used as propaganda tools, to be sure, but the most popular ones have a reputation for providing relevant and, most importantly, accurate, information about the subjects which they cover. If you happen to be authoring a commercial blog, be sure to avoid libeling your competitors. Blogs are a written form of communication and leveling untrue charges against anyone therein is a very serious matter; potentially one that can lead to legal entanglements.

Your blog can be fun and casual while also being literary and even high-brow. Many scientists maintain blogs that describe their work in subjects as diverse as molecular biology and astrophysics. The popularity of these blogs comes from the fact that the authors manage to create fun entries without being trite and to be intellectual without being stuffy.

If you’re worried about your writing skills, consider writing in a word processing program first and using the spelling and grammar check in that program before entering text into your blog. This way, you can simply cut and paste the blog text into your site when it’s all ready to go instead of proofreading on the fly. If you really want to be pro and avoid the linguistic pitfalls of many blogs, print out your text and proofread it on paper before posting it. Remember, the world will be reading. You owe it to them to give text a proofread before you post it.

Blogs that are extremely personal are usually only interesting to close friends and family. If you’re trying to draw an audience, remember to include information that’s generally interesting, not just personally so.

Have a blog, but struggling for traffic? In my “Fast Blog Traffic Report” I reveal some proven, seldom revealed in public kind of techniques to driving massive traffic to any blog.

You have built a great website. Everything is set up and you are excited about your online presence. A day goes by, a week, then two,and your traffic is just trickling in one or two visitors at a time. Your excitement turns to woe. What went wrong? Having a great website with good products/service and having virtually no traffic is like throwing a big party and having no one show up. Use the following inexpensive traffic tips and you will see the results you want.

Before you do anything else, use a keyword tool to research the right keywords for your site. What keywords are your competition using? Make sure your site is content uses the keywords your niche market uses to search. This will do two things. It will help improve your ranking in the search engines for these phrases, and it will get you visible to those you want to visit your site.

Once you have done your keyword homework and have your site optimized, the next inexpensive traffic secret is to make sure to add fresh content to your site every 3 to 4 days. Again, this keeps you in the engines and in front of your prospects. This point is the most inexpensive and one of the most important aspects of improving and maintaining your search engine rankings. Remember, if people don’t know your site is available they won’t visit.

Start a blog about your niche market. Make sure to write fresh content at least once a week. Let your visitors comment on your content, or even add their own. This will keep visitors coming back to your site to see what is been added.

Another inexpensive traffic secret is to write and submit articles to articles directories. These article directories allow others to use your content as long as you are given credit for the article. Your signature file is always attached to the articles. In your signature file, youll place links with strong call to action to your site.

Regularly submitting articles to the ezine directories will increase links to your site and help you establish yourself as an authority in your industry. Just as with a brick and mortar business, you must make your presence known on the Internet.

Many think that banner ads no longer work generating traffic to websites. Just look at some of the more prestigious sites on the web…and you will see banner ads galore. Several directories list websites selling ad space. The fees will vary depending mainly on how many visitors the site attracts.

Getting your site listed in directories relating to your industry is another inexpensive way to bring traffic to your site. If you are targeting a local market, also make sure to get listed in local directories.

These few inexpensive traffic secrets consistently generate website visitors. Some of these strategies may take a few months to increase your traffic. Others such as banner ads will generate traffic almost immediately.

If you find a particular blog a little dull and boring, you can be sure its author is uninteresting and exasperating too. So when you are hosting a blog, you must try and make it as interesting as possible.

Come up with some good ideas? And do not copy others, although imitation is the best form of flattery. Hone your writing and spelling skills, write an entry, be harsh on yourself and edit it minutely.

You may start off with one topic reflecting your own personal interest, but you can expand your horizons by researching on related links provided by others.

Sometimes people ask questions and this can start a different thread, which you can take up and weave it in other directions. If, for instance, you start a blog on foreign cinema, you may find so many readers posting their comments on their favorite movies and suddenly one reader mentions a book on which a movie is based, then that can start off a different thread and link altogether. This can be more fun than you can imagine.

If you talk about the rules to blog. They are none but commonsense. But you must always take care that whoever comes to your blog should be in a position to read it. Unless your site is password protected your content is available to all. Do not publish secrets particularly if you are running a business site. Company secrets are their own. Under no circumstances they should be publicized.

It is equally important sometimes to stick to single niche on a single blog, especially if the topic is serious. The more you research on a specific niche subject, the better topics you are likely to find. You can then write more on them.

It is always better to write your own blog entries yourself, in your own style, rather than paying blog writers to blog for you. Remember, the writer may not be as passionate as you about your topic and interest. But if for some reason, you have to get a writer for blogging, make sure the writer provides original content, and not copy-paste versions of the information freely available on the internet.

If you are still out of ideas, just visit some sites and read some discussion boards for inspiration. Make a note of the topics and points which are interesting, and use those in your posts. Give your visitors food for thought, make them think; get your message across to them and through them.

Choose topics that are sure to provoke a reaction. Many questions posted on discussion boards are left unanswered, find the ones which interest you, and use them in your blog. Most times, users try to look in the search engines if their queries are unanswered on discussion boards. A well-written blog can give you a lot of satisfaction. You can even use it to promote your business and to advertise your products. The scope is limitless.
